Welcome to the first blog on Patchwork Dreamers blogg spot.  I am starting a new and exciting venture by setting up an on line Patchwork and quilting web shop.  I have given up childminding to give my full attention to this adventure.  My computer skills are limited (very!) and so the lovely people at quintdownweb are building the shop for me.  Yesterday Alison from quintdown web came to try and teach me the back office work of the site, bless her I am not a natural.  So bare with the web page it could look a bit funny as I home my skills.  Now for the intresting bits what am I going to stock well I have at the moment 38 Kona solids accross the color spectrum, Riley Blake with Hooty hoot returns, So Happy, and Geekly Chic.  Art gallery fabrics Bijoux, Textures, Colour me Retro and Carnaby Street. Blends Bonjour Mon Ami, Field day, Gossamer and Bella. YLI hand and machine quilting threads, quilting stencils, Lame Bias tape and all sorts of John James needles.  Lots of stock due in over the next couple of months so keep an eye on me to see what I am up too.  If there is anything you would like me to stock just message me on here, facebook page or text and I will do my best and will get back to you.

Good afternoon blog land and welcome to new and not so new readers.  As you will see I have a button! Eyes right, this is because I did a button swap with Maybush Studio Blog see her button now?  Clare has a fun blog with all sorts on there a lifestyle blog is I am sure is the correct wording.  Off course there is Patchwork with some very pretty quilts and also an adventure about to be started in the form of remodeling their home.  We built this house back in 1999 and so I am intrested to see how it all works out the plans look super. Now as you can see our remodeling of the fabric cupboard is almost complete just some hooks to put on the bi fold doors to hold the little nik nak things, on hold as Hubby has man flu and I dare not put the hooks in myself! Patchwork Dreamer Let the year begin!

Happy New Year! I have started well my first row is complete for the row along patterns taken from Lori Holts lovely book find it here  http://beeinmybonnetco.blogspot.co.uk/  I have used the boarder from this cute little quilt. And added her Chubby Chevrons. And it looks like this! I have also made a label which I will ask everyone who adds a row to write their name on and I will stitch it all at the end. And I have started to finish these place mats, only two more to bind.  Lessons about not being mean with backing fabric have been learnt on these..... And healthy eating has started a little earlier than I intended as a further 7 pounds have landed on my hips over the Holidays :( so it is now more like 3 stone to loose.  No point moaning just stop eating all that yummy stuff and get on ith playing with yummy fabric instead.  News of Patchwork Dreamer, later in the week I will be looking at Christmas fabric for this year!  Mad but fun.  Take a look at my faceb

Gadding about having Patchwork fun.

Good morning last week I left you to visit all the lovely blogs on  http://lilysquilts.blogspot.co.uk/  Small blog meet, wow there were so many I keep going back to look at more. Take a look you will be there for hours. I also went to a local quilt show The Trelyn Quilters Exhibition in Fraddon village hall another wow!  I forgot my camera so no pics sorry.  However I did pick up three quilting books for £3, bargin. The pinapple stars has all the papers in but I think it may be a while before I attempt the small one! I managed to only buy 1 FQ to add to my Christmas fabrics, I have been collecting for a couple of years now. I am going to do a project based on one of the quilts in the Stack a New Deck book. And finally I went to the American Museum in Bath with the quilt group I belong too.  It took us over 4 hours there and back but was worth it.  We went mostley for the quilt room but I have to say I enjoyed all of it.  This was one of the quilts on display.
